Hi everyone.

I've been busy with RL for a few days now. Nothing worth noting really. I just wanted to acknowledge it so no one thinks I'm going to disappear for a few months again.

I'll be back online as soon as I can get away.

The coyotes are yipping outside and both of my dogs HOUNDS are going ape-shit over here.
Yes, the damn thing is somewhere in the front yard but the front yard is about three acres by six acres. The window is shut but, its like dueling freakin' banjos here right now.

I'm just glad we don't have any neighbors (and that I don't have to go to work tomorrow).

1. Eyecon; September 26-28 and I so want to go. I think I might could swing it.
2. New episodes of Supernatural tomorrow night. *fangirls*
3. I ordered Showtime *patiently waits for Dexter to come back*
4. Ghosthunters tonight.
5. Dancing with the Stars; I think Marlee did awesome considering that she can’t hear the music. Derek got really mad when the judges hurt Shannon’s feelings *raised eyebrow*. Personally, I don’t think that they were being fair in their critique although the scores weren’t bad.
6. My boss sent me flowers for Administrative Professionals Week. I'll post a picture later. They're pretty.

So, as I mentioned, I was going to watch tv during lunch. Dexter, more specifically. But there were people all over this office when 12:00 rolled around. So, I just went outside. I'm feeling crappy lately anyway and wasn't planning on eating anything for lunch today. (Got a Dr. appt. tomorrow)

Anyway, so I was just walking around during lunch and about 12:30 I bumped into my boss who invited me for lunch. So, my boss took me to lunch.

This Saturday, I went to the bookstore and bought Dearly Devoted Dexter by Jeff Lindsay and Demons Are a Ghoul's Best Friend by Victoria Laurie. I read Dexter yesterday and I now want to buy the other books in the series. It doesn't follow the television series exactly, but its enough to where you recognize everything. I'm wickedly amused by the book, even though I am very attached to Michael C. Hall's Dexter.

P.S. This icon makes me happy in naughty and wrong ways.

Ok so my lunch hour was not completely shot. I managed to watch a half of Dexter Father Knows Best which didn't tape last week for some reason and I wound up taping Cold Case instead.

Quiz type things that I got from my own journal (December 05 through October 06) because I should be working but I don’t really want to start anything new after finishing up this last, last minute project that should have been finished months ago and had to be done before the morning. ( quiz love )
I had a brief moment where I considered writing a letter to the pig dog bastard today. For no other reason than I know I could find out what's going on in his recent criminal case.

You would think that after dating me for three years, being married to me and just knowing me for 17 years he would realize when I am just being manipulative. But, as of the last time I talked to him either: he doesn't know, he doesn't care or I know him better than he knows me.

The dog introduction went pretty well. Odie went over to the puppy with his hackles raised but tail wagging. I think he was feeling a little unsure but Buster is so small, he didn’t seem to be a threat.
I put the puppy in the kennel, and left Odie loose in the house while we went out to dinner. We met up with the family, table for ten.

I dropped the boys off at home and went to Walmart by myself. I had to get my new puppy a bed, some puppy food and toys. I bought Odie a new toy too so that he wouldn't be too terribly jealous. It was a pretty uneventful trip really.

I watched Hitman this weekend. I don’t know why people were complaining about the casting of Timothy Olyphant as 47. I thought he did an outstanding job as 47, and the movie itself was freakin’ awesome. I watched it twice in a row. Then during dinner, Dad wanted to see it before I sent it back so we watched it again.

Still need to watch The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford but it’s a little over 2.5 hours and I just haven’t gotten to it yet. I’ve had the movie for over a week so thank goodness for Netflix and their “keep for as long as you want” policy. I just have got this feeling of dread that its going to be one of those epic Dancing with Wolves/Last of the Mohicans movies that the critics(and everyone else it seems) loved but makes me feel like my brain is slowly atrophying.

So, I started writing this at 8:00 a.m. when I got here. But I've just been jotting things down while working too.

So, after being off sick 5 days in a row and being almost completely a hermit, I was ready to come back to work. In those five days I slept alot; got online for a total of 30 minutes, played Hitman 2, Psi-Ops (defeated it), Blinx! The Time Sweeper (hated it), and KotoR II: The Sith Lords (again); watched BtVS ep. Nightmares and Out of Mind, Out of Sight and House ep Pilot (which was pretty cool since I didn’t get in until the most recent season) and one that I can’t remember the name of right now, but House has a jerk cop for a client in the clinic.

My most recent ex-boyfriend showed up here in the office about 30 minutes ago. I sent him away, didn't even ask him what he wanted.

Empire Magazine has revealed its list of the 50 Greatest TV Shows ever. So, of course, LJ-ers have leapt upon the opportunity and made it into a meme. Snagged from bobbinrob

Wow, I’m boring. Not much going on. Work is even slow. Not that I’m complaining. Every once in a while, a boring day at work is nice.

I dyed my hair again, I’ll post a picture later. I’m too lazy and gas is too expensive for me to drive 40 miles every six weeks to get my roots done. Boys birthday is tomorrow. I really don’t want to go out tomorrow night so I think instead I’ll just order some pizzas and pick them up on the way home. If I wasn’t already taking next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off, I might have just left early tomorrow and then going out wouldn’t be so bad. By the time we got anywhere though, it would be after 6 p.m. Then, since it’s Friday, there would be a wait.

My super-exciting plans for the weekend:

Friday Night:
Bring home pizza and give the boys their presents

Saturday:
Take the boys for sushi, buy boys new video games, play video games

Sunday:
Do all our laundry and play video games

Why do people name groups things like good random fandom icons? Now, I’m a member of some of these groups but, seriously?
Who thinks, “Wow, I need to get some more shitty icons for my journal...”?

I just did a voice post. I think I could get into that format eventually but not sure about it yet.
