Last 24 hours:

1. Trying to catch up on my flist.
2. Date went well; he asked me out again next weekend.
3. Stuffed 40 goody bags for the party this morning.
4. Bought (off brand) koolaid, lemonaid, root beer and soda.
5. Bought plates, napkins, cups, and forks.


Still need to do:
1. Pick up cake; need to leave soon.
2. Eat something.
3. Buy some ice.
4. Find the ice chest to put the ice in (maybe that should be before buying the ice).
5. GET OFFLINE.

I'm still not feeling quite up to snuff today. Thanks for the comments yesterday.
I kinda slept in this morning. Until 8, then I took the dog out. I dozed until 9 and finally decided to stop fighting the envitable and got up at 9:30. Me and the boys headed out and went to GameStop first to look through all their previously owned games.

They got:
Spiderman: Friend or Foe
Nicktoons: Attack of the Toy Bots

and I got:
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
PSI-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy
Blinx: The Time Sweeper (its rated E for everyone and I don't care :P

The Abandoned (they were 4 for $20 and I needed a fourth)

We had lunch at Red Lobster because the sushi place we used to go to closed and there is a new restaurant in its place. That sucked but the guy who waited on us was really nice and cute too so, that's always a perk. So today was definitely on the "WIN" side.

I'm feeling crappy now so I'm going to take some more cold medicine and take a nap.

I feel old today.

Not because I'm 30.

My body doesn't feel old, and I don't look my age.
I still feel like a teenager in my mind.

Today is the boys' 9th birthday. One more year and my babies will be in the double digits.

Also, I think I'm getting sick. I'm all sniffly today.

Just notes for myself since I am about to leave work.

The boys are being real sports about having to postpone their birthday party from this Saturday, to next. Their grandfather is leaving Saturday morning for a few days. This means I get a few days off work. I'm taking the kids out for sushi and then to GameStop. They'll be thrilled. Then next weekend we can have the party with the enormous cake and 42 kids.

I am helping my son with his homework. Math. Which is not my best subject. I cheat and use a calculator to check the answers. Also it helps to know I am easily distracted. So, we are checking the answers...

It is so wrong that I find this hilarious? My boys watch Supernatural with me... sometimes.
However, they have never seen Mystery Spot, which is what this little note reminds me of.


So it seems that the other twin is unintentionally channeling Dean Winchester.


Gotta go finish the laundry now.

So last night, after realizing nothing was coming on and nothing was taped, I saw that Supernatural was coming on. Now, I had never seen Supernatural before but since most the people who share my fandom interests like the show, I decided to give it a shot. yeah... I have a new fandom too.

My son told me this morning, as he was getting out of the car, "I told my teacher that one day, David (his brother) is going to take over the world. *pause* I wonder why she said that she hoped she'd be dead by then."

I thought it was funny.

Short story... once while washing my sons' hair, I poured a cup of water over one their heads. At which point, he freaked. He stood up, and grabbed for the towel screaming, "My EYES!!!!!!! I'm BLIND!!!!!!!!!!!".

At the time, I didn't find it that funny because I was soaked. Once I dried off I found it hysterical though.

So I made an icon. I'm at work, so I just made it in like three minutes in msn paint. Now, I just have to find reason to use it.
