So yesterday a relay station for the power company went out in the town where I work. Thankfully, we got to leave work about two hours early. I sat in the dark for about an hour before the bosses let us go. Glad it was such a pretty day yesterday because I had the door propped open to get some light in here. There are no windows in my building at all. Luckily, we have a different power company at home and we still had electricity which means I didn’t have to reset all the clocks AGAIN.

Then at the post office, I got my Supernatural (Season 2)DVD’s (Season 1 is on its way). Yay! So, me and the boys watched the gag reel (twice) and then mom and I watched In My Time of Dying, Everybody Loves a Clown, Bloodlust, Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things, Simon Said, and No Exit and then I had to go to bed.

I thought about doing a voice post last night before I went to bed and fell asleep before I followed through with it.

Why do people feel the need to tell me their life story on the phone? I have better things to do especially if you aren't even a client of ours.

Not a technical movie review but just some thoughts about it.

So I rented a movie called Devour because I’m a fangirl.

There were three people in the whole movie who I recognized.

Jensen Ackles - All fangirling aside (man is so very pretteh), he’s really a good actor.
William Sadler - He’s ok, I only remember him from Demon Knight with Billy Zane as the Demon. I was rooting for the bad guy.
and
Shannyn Sossamon- I don’t like her, really and truly. I don’t think she could act her way out of a paper bag. Also I don’t think she’s pretty. Not a troll, obviously, but there is something about her that makes me think she was put together all wrong.

So, last night I sent the kids to bed and I put the movie in. Dad and I watch and there is some MST3000 type comments, as usual.

I kept thinking that I should buy this movie, and then was reminded that maybe I shouldn't, because it wasn't very good.

But it was better than The House that Screamed, which still holds the title of THE WORST MOVIE EVER MADE .

So last night, after realizing nothing was coming on and nothing was taped, I saw that Supernatural was coming on. Now, I had never seen Supernatural before but since most the people who share my fandom interests like the show, I decided to give it a shot. yeah... I have a new fandom too.

My son told me this morning, as he was getting out of the car, "I told my teacher that one day, David (his brother) is going to take over the world. *pause* I wonder why she said that she hoped she'd be dead by then."

I thought it was funny.
